I’m so excited to share with all of you my first official guest post-er on my blog! Lauren from Fancy Nonsense will be sharing a really neat and super-easy Upcycled Garden Hose Project.
I feel so cool guest posting here with Rachel. She is creating such a neat community and it’s fun to be a part of it.
Today I would like to share with you my latest upcycled garden project. It’s an old garden hose turned mudroom mat or muddy garden shoe landing place.
Step 1. Gather your old hose and zip ties. I bought my zip ties online there are a million choices on Amazon:
Step 2. Start coiling the hose and fastening with the zip ties:
Step 3. Continue coiling the hose until you run out of hose or it’s as big as you want. As you coil it makes a nice pattern if you keep the zip ties in an X pattern as you work:
Step 4. Keep in mind to fasten all the zip ties on the bottom side of the mat. That way it will be clean an smooth on top:
Step 5. Cut off all excess zip tie length:
Step 6. You’re done! >>
How easy was that? How do you use your old garden hose?
