Today is a wonderful day to check out my original art prints on society6, as there is currently FREE SHIPPING on anything you order, worldwide!
I have done photography as a hobby for the last few years now, and am thrilled to share that I am now selling some of my original art prints on society6. You can purchase them in a variety of forms including art prints, framed art prints, and canvas – in varying sizes as well.
As a person and a photographer, I am inspired by natural elements, especially that which we encounter in our everyday lives – our food. I am interested in drawing out the inherent beauty in what we often view as ordinary, perhaps even unattractive, or simply utilitarian.
Farming especially is not typically thought of as a beautiful work, but in my own experiences farming and living more simply, I have found this work and lifestyle to be the most beautiful and meaningful of all.
Most of the photographs you see are very deeply personal to me, whether it is a bed of lettuce I’ve hand-washed myself, a silently brilliant sunset, or a freshly-harvested bunch of beans, I photograph what I find meaning in. I find it to be an extension of what I might want to express verbally . . . and instead, I let the photograph tell the story.
